Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host to join the team of our live streaming hockey show, “Game Over: Vancouver.” This show is dedicated to analyzing and discussing Vancouver Canucks games, providing fans with a comprehensive post-game analysis, reactions, and interactive discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Host live streaming shows after Vancouver Canucks game throughout the season.
– Engage with the audience, create a lively and entertaining atmosphere, and maintain a positive energy throughout the show.
– Provide insightful and engaging post-game analysis, breaking down key moments, plays, and player performances.
– Facilitate interactive discussions and engage with viewers’ comments and questions in real-time.
– Collaborate with co-hosts, analysts, and production team members to ensure a smooth and engaging show.
– Keep up-to-date with the latest Vancouver Canucks news, player updates, and NHL trends.
Qualifications:
– A passion for hockey, particularly the Vancouver Canucks, with a strong knowledge of the game, players, and strategies.
– Excellent communication skills and a charismatic on-camera presence.
– Energetic, enthusiastic, and able to maintain high energy levels during live broadcasts.
– Previous experience in hosting, broadcasting, or public speaking is preferred but not required.
– Familiarity with live streaming platforms and tools, such as OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), is a plus.
– A PC or MAC that is capable of hosting a livestream in 1080p and 30fps is required.
– Ability to think on your feet, handle unexpected situations, and maintain professionalism.
– Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on game schedules.
Compensation:
$100 per stream
